Don't limit your contrast

Don’t try to limit the contrast, just become more discriminating in the parts that you focus on.

That’d be like saying, “I know what I like to eat. So when I go to this restaurant, there’s no reason for them to have anything other than these items. Because that’s all I need.”

Or “When I go to this buffet, they don’t need to have any of the things that I don’t choose,” because you are limiting your opportunity to expand your palate.

Because we know for sure, there’s stuff you want to eat that you’ve never tasted that when you do, you’re going to love it. There are food combinations that you have not yet discovered. And there are combinations of all things in life.

So don’t try to limit the contrast. Just improve your discrimination.
