For those of you who are overachievers, this is important for you to know, because oftentimes you don’t allow yourself just to receive.
There’s always a condition that you place on it, "oh, well, they gave to me, so I got to turn around and give it right back to them."
No. It’s not a tit-for-tat kind of exchange. It’s not an equal exchange. The way the Universe works is that you pass the energy along, so you might receive from one person and then you can give to another.
That person who gave to you initially, as they’re giving, they can open to receive from another source. It might be from you but it doesn’t have to be from you. It can be from somewhere else, from someone else.
And this is what you’re opening up to in terms of abundance with the universe, that it’s not a conditional exchange, it’s not an exact exchange.
The Universe is infinite. Energy can flow from infinite directions to you. So, if you’re giving in one area, it doesn’t mean that you have to receive in that same area. It can come from sources known and unknown.
